He is not suffering anymore.

My Father passed away suddenly. Although he had been aflicted with Diabetes and had lost a limb through amputation, he was basically healthy. He was eating better, and had a great disposition. He had a heart attack on a Saturday, spoke with me on Sunday to tell me that he was fine. Monday, they moved him to ICU but told me that they were going to move him back to the "step down" unit on Tuesday afternoon. He died Tuesday morning rom Renal Failure.
